Construction site water purification plant. Treatment goal: reuse of water for industrial processes
For the future city designed by the Kenyan government, Konza,as part of the “Kenya Vision 2030 Plan”, Gajarda is engaged in the development of treatment plants for the construction of the site.
The plant was built usingmarine containers that perform the dual function of storage and treatment tanks and technical rooms for the containment of electromechanical equipment. The process is based on 4 steps:
Step 1: Equalisation section
Step 2: MBBR oxidation section
Step 3: sedimentation section
Step 4: sand filtration, charcoal filtration, ultrafiltration and osmosis
The 4 containers, with all the technologies inside them, have been completely designed, assembled and tested by the Gajarda team.
The system is highly technological and automated.
