Plant for water softening and nitrate removal  serving a municipal aqueduct. Consisting of pressure filters in stainless steel.

Technology used

The system consists of two ion exchange filtration sections each composed of two stainless steel filter units filled with special ionic resins.
The first section is intended for the removal of nitrate with selective anionic resins, while the second section is intended for softening the water with cationic resins.
The system is highly technological and automated. There are ion-selective probe reading instruments for the continuous measurement of nitrate.
