MiSE system for the treatment of groundwater installed at a major industrial plant.
The process involves a chemical-physical treatment for the reduction of Cr (VI) and precipitation of metals by clear-flocculation, followed by pressure filtration on quartzite and finally activated carbon for the removal of organic materials. The treated water is sent to the drain.
The backwash from the quarzite filter containing the flocculated metals is treated with polyelectrolyte and sent to a conical settler. The sludge is extracted for disposal.
Thesystem is fully automated through dedicated software with remote control.
