Chemical-physical plant for the treatment of wastewater contaminated by hydrocarbons and heavy metals. Installed at an AMA plant.
The system consists of a monobloc structure made of steel that includes the reaction tanks and the conical settler.
The effluent is acidified in the first tank, in the second an oxidant is dosed, in the third and fourth contact with flocculant and polyelectrolyte occurs and in the last, the pH is neutralized.
All tanks are equipped with vertical mixers. After the chemical treatment, the water arrives at a conical settler where the sludge is precipitated while the clarified water is sent to the drain. The plant operates in fully automated fashion.
