Lamella clarifiers (Inclined plate settlers)
Clarifiers or settlers are mainly used in large installations to separate sedimentable solids suspended in the water entering the plant.
Thanks to the presence of lamella banks, these settlers develop considerable active surfaces in small tanks.
The space required for the installation a lamella clarifier is reduced by up to 90% compared to traditional sedimentation devices.
Settler equipment is used in the following fields:
- Primary or secondary sedimentation of waste water
- Clear-flocculation stages in water purification systems
- Generic water de-sedimentation processes

Optimal configurations can be assembled based on operating parameters such as operating flow rates, water chemical-physical characteristics and treatment targets.
